[EXAMPLE OF USE]
◉FOR EDGES OF WOODEN FURNITURE, ETC.
When making furniture using decorative plywood, if the thick part of the plywood or MDF is visible, this part may be covered with wood veneer sheet afterward.
By attaching Japanese paper to the back side of a veneer sheet, it becomes easier to use.
◉AS REPAIR MATERIALS
This veneer sheet can be used for repairing and applying to flat wooden surfaces such as furniture and interior decorations.
Please flatten the surfaces of the base with sandpaper so that there are no uneven parts before use.
◉WOODEN INLAY/MARQUETRY
When it is used for wood inlaying/marquetry, the use of wood veneer sheet, which is affixed with Japanese paper, allows for delicate processing. This is because it is relatively easy to arrange, even for smaller and delicate cuts.
◉SPEAKERS
It can be used on laminated boards for speaker boxes, such as plywood, MDF, etc.

[ABOUT IRONING ]
It can be applied with a household iron.
We recommend the use of a special glue that can be applied to the base material (the object to which the veneer is affixed) and used after it dries.
This allows you to apply the wood veneer sheet after the glue has dried, so unlike ordinary glues, you can apply it without being restricted by time.

[How to Use]

  1. Apply the Adhesive
Apply the adhesive evenly to both the surface to be bonded (the base material) and the back of the wood veneer.
Allow it to dry completely until the white adhesive becomes transparent.
    Approximate amount needed:
    • About 10g per 30×30cm area (one side)
    • About 20g total for both surfaces
Note: Amount may vary depending on application method.
  2. Bonding (Heat with Iron)
Once the adhesive is dry, press with a household iron to activate the bonding.
The adhesive melts at around 80°C (176°F), allowing reactivation even if some time has passed after drying.
However, it is recommended to complete the bonding process on the same day.
  3. How to Use the Iron
    • Start with a low temperature and gradually increase as needed.
    • Excessive heat may scorch the wood veneer.
    • It is generally safe to place the iron directly on the veneer, but using a thin cloth (e.g., a cotton hand towel) helps prevent burns or scratches.
    • Do not leave the iron in one spot, even with a cloth — this can cause discoloration or scorching.
    • For first-time users, starting at around 100°C (212°F) is safer.
Note: If the temperature is too low, proper bonding may not occur. Be sure to apply sufficient heat.
  4. Finishing & Repairs
If air bubbles appear under the veneer after bonding, pierce the area with a fine needle or craft knife to release the air, then reheat with the iron. This usually resolves the issue.

[Frequently Asked Questions]

Q: Can I apply it to curved surfaces?
A: It can be applied to two-dimensional curved surfaces. However, ironing may be more difficult. For spherical or complex three-dimensional shapes, wrinkling may occur.

Q: Can I order custom sizes?
A: Yes, we can produce custom sizes up to 1200mm × 2400mm or 900mm × 3000mm.
Note that materials may shrink slightly due to heat during processing. We typically produce pieces about 10mm larger than the actual dimensions to allow for adjustment.
