The TSUKI-JIRI WOOD PLATE embraces this natural variation — every single piece is unique. Each time you hold one, you can sense the environment where the tree grew, and the quiet memory of the forest it came from.
The ridged surface adds a hand-crafted texture that brings depth and character to birch's clean, understated grain.

About the Finish
We chose Cerawood — a urethane-based topcoat developed specifically for wood products — to preserve the natural texture of the wood while ensuring the durability needed for everyday tableware use.
Cerawood offers protection against moisture, stains, and UV exposure, making it well-suited for daily use.
Products finished with the same Cerawood specification have undergone food-contact safety testing in accordance with EU standards.
This product is designed for tableware use with foods at room temperature up to comfortably warm (not too hot to touch).
Note: Birch is known for its fine, consistent grain and natural warmth. The ridged finish introduces a tactile dimension to the surface, and variations in grain and tone ensure that no two plates are ever quite the same.

Care Instructions
