Shipping Method

MORI KOUGEI ships worldwide via DHL Express. All international orders are shipped by DHL, which provides fast delivery and reliable tracking.

 

Shipping Fees – How They Are Calculated

International shipping fees are calculated based on the following:

· Destination country (zone)
· Total shipment weight
· DHL volumetric weight rules

Shipping fees are divided into 6 global zones with rates set for each zone.

The final shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on the actual contents of your cart. Please add items to your cart and proceed to checkout to see your exact shipping fee before completing your order.

 

Product Categories & Shipping Notes

While standard DHL Express rates apply to most products, some items may have adjusted shipping fees due to size, packaging, or handling requirements.

Products that may ship at a lower rate:

· Accessories (earrings, pendants)
· Adhesive (up to 1kg)
· TSUKI-ITA TILES sample kits
· TSUKI-JIRI Petite Plate

These items are lighter and more compact, allowing for reduced shipping costs.

Products that may ship at a higher rate:

· Decorative plywood panels
· Veneer sheets (900×1800 and custom sizes)
· Large panel-type products

These items require special packaging and are subject to volumetric weight calculations, which may result in higher shipping costs.

 

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or other taxes imposed by the destination country.

· These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
· MORI KOUGEI is not responsible for customs duties or taxes.
· Any customs clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing. As a general guideline:

· Asia: 2–4 business days
· North America / Europe: 3–5 business days
· Other regions: 4–7 business days

Please note that delays may occur due to customs inspections or local conditions beyond our control.

 

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

All MORI KOUGEI products are handcrafted. Minor surface marks or slight dimensional variations are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not constitute defects. Please keep this in mind before placing your order.

Returns and cancellations cannot be accepted in the following cases:

· Items that have been opened or used
· Items reported more than 14 days after delivery
· Items damaged or soiled after delivery
· Returns due to size differences or items not matching expectations
· Items missing original packaging, accessories, or manuals
· Custom or personalized items made to the customer's specifications

Returns or exchanges are accepted only in the case of a clear product defect or incorrect item received. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order via info@mori-kougei.com.

For Customers in the European Union
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers residing in the EU have the right to withdraw from their purchase and request a return or refund within 14 days of receiving their order, without providing a reason. This right takes precedence over our standard return policy.

To exercise this right, please contact us at info@mori-kougei.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please note the following conditions:

· The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer (unless the item is defective or incorrect).
· We will refund the original product price once the returned item has been received and inspected.
· If the returned item shows signs of use or a reduction in value, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund.
· Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.
