Shipping Method

MORI KOUGEI ships worldwide via DHL Express.

We no longer use EMS as a standard shipping method.
All international orders are normally shipped by DHL, which provides fast delivery and reliable tracking.

In rare cases, another carrier (UPS / FedEx) may be used upon request.
Please contact us at info@mori-kougei.com if you require a special shipping arrangement.


Shipping Fees – How They Are Calculated

Our international shipping fees are weight-based and region-based, using DHL rates.

For most products, we apply Standard International Shipping, which is calculated based on:

  • Destination country (zone)
  • Total shipment weight
  • DHL volumetric weight rules

Shipping fees are divided into 6 global zones, and rates are finely set for each zone.

Important:
The prices shown below represent the standard shipping reference rates.
The final shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on the actual contents of your cart.


Product Categories & Shipping Adjustments

While Standard International Shipping is the default, some products require adjusted shipping fees due to packaging size, handling requirements, or regulations.

Products that may ship at a lower rate

  • Accessories (earrings, pendants)
  • Adhesive (up to 1kg)
  • Tile sample kits
  • Petite Plate

These items are lighter and more compact, allowing reduced shipping costs compared to standard products.

Products that may ship at a higher rate

  • Decorative plywood
  • Veneer sheets (3×6 size and custom sizes)
  • Large veneer sheets
  • Panel-type products

These items require special packaging and are subject to volumetric weight, which can result in higher shipping costs.


How to Check Your Exact Shipping Cost

Because shipping costs vary depending on the combination of items, package size, and destination, we do not display a fixed shipping price per product.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or other taxes imposed by the destination country.

  • These charges are not included in the shipping fee.
  • MORI KOUGEI is not responsible for customs duties or taxes.
  • Any customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Delivery Time

Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing.

As a general guideline:

  • Asia: 2–4 business days
  • North America / Europe: 3–5 business days
  • Other regions: 4–7 business days

Please note that delays may occur due to customs inspections or local conditions.


Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

All MORI KOUGEI products are handcrafted.

For this reason:

  • We do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds after purchase.
  • Returns or exchanges are only accepted in the case of incorrect shipment.
