About KŌSŌ (Light Layers)
KŌSŌ is a pattern that creates layers of light through the natural flow of wood grain.
Depending on the angle of light and the viewer’s perspective, the shadows within the grain shift subtly,
creating a sense of depth and movement on a flat surface.
In this piece, only the most distinctive sections of wood grain have been carefully selected and composed
to fully express their unique character.

are carefully judged by skilled craftsmen.
