Shipping Method & Fees
MORI KOUGEI ships via DHL Express to supported international destinations. Availability varies by product and destination.
We use store-set shipping rates based on the destination country or region, product type, quantity, and registered shipping weight.
Add your items to the cart and enter your delivery address to view the applicable shipping fee before payment. Fees may be combined when an order contains products from different shipping categories. If no shipping method is displayed, please contact us before ordering.
Orders to Certain Destinations
We are currently not accepting orders for delivery to Russia or Belarus.
For delivery to Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan, Ukraine, or Venezuela, please contact us individually to confirm shipping availability and obtain a shipping quote before placing an order or making payment.
Orders for delivery to these seven countries cannot be placed through our standard online checkout.
Product Categories
For accessories, adhesive (eligible products and destinations only), TSUKI-ITA TILES sample kits, TSUKI-JIRI Petite Plate, and other items, shipping fees vary by product, quantity, and destination.
For international shipping of large natural wood veneer sheets (900×1800 mm and individual-size sheets up to 900 mm wide), a total of 1–20 eligible sheets is shipped in one parcel and 21–40 sheets in two parcels. You can confirm the shipping fee at checkout before payment. Orders of 41 or more eligible sheets require a shipping quote in advance and cannot be completed through automatic online checkout. Please contact us before ordering.
For large plywood sheets or panels, long items, and custom orders other than the veneer sheets described above, please contact us before ordering to confirm international shipping availability and obtain a quote. You can also contact us about products for which no online shipping method is displayed.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or other taxes imposed by the destination country.
· These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
· MORI KOUGEI is not responsible for customs duties or taxes.
· Any customs clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing. As a general guideline:
· Asia: 2–4 business days
· North America / Europe: 3–5 business days
· Other regions: 4–7 business days
Please note that delays may occur due to customs inspections or local conditions beyond our control.
The standard return conditions below do not limit withdrawal rights or rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods under applicable consumer law. Our request to report problems within 14 days, and conditions concerning opening, use or packaging, do not extinguish these statutory rights.
Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
All MORI KOUGEI products are handcrafted. Minor surface marks or slight dimensional variations are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not constitute defects. Please keep this in mind before placing your order.
Returns and cancellations cannot be accepted in the following cases:
· Items that have been opened or used
· Items reported more than 14 days after delivery
· Items damaged or soiled after delivery
· Returns due to size differences or items not matching expectations
· Items missing original packaging, accessories, or manuals
· Custom or personalized items made to the customer's specifications
Returns or exchanges are accepted only in the case of a clear product defect or incorrect item received. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order via info@mori-kougei.com.
Where EU or UK consumer law applies
For purchases covered by withdrawal or cancellation rights under EU or UK consumer law, you may notify us of your decision without giving a reason within 14 days starting the day after you receive the goods. Send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us. You may notify us at info@mori-kougei.com or by another clear statement of your decision. These statutory rights take precedence over our standard return conditions.
Being handmade does not itself exclude the right of withdrawal. Statutory exceptions apply, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
For a qualifying withdrawal, we refund payments we received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery we offered. Additional costs of a more expensive delivery option you selected are not refundable.
Under EU law, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days after your withdrawal notice. Unless we offer collection, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first. Under UK law, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving the goods or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first; if we offer collection, within 14 days after your cancellation notice. We use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without refund fees.
You bear direct return costs for a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal only where we informed you before purchase and applicable law permits. We bear costs that the law requires us to bear for defective or incorrect goods.
Liability for diminished value is limited to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning. We do not make deductions prohibited by law, including where required advance information about the right of withdrawal was not provided.
Statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming goods are separate from withdrawal rights. Our standard reporting periods and descriptions of handmade or custom goods do not limit applicable statutory rights or remedies.
