[Recruitment] From Tokushima to the world. For those serious about learning veneer craftsmanship | We welcome applicants relocating from outside the prefecture

MORI KOUGEI is currently expanding its team as part of our continued growth.

For more than 70 years in Tokushima, we have specialized in decorative plywood processing for furniture and architectural interiors.
Our work involves applying thinly sliced natural wood veneer, known as “TSUKI-ITA,” and designing the expression of wood grain itself.

Today, we are also developing architectural interior materials and exhibiting at international trade shows, expanding our activities toward a global audience.

This recruitment is not simply about filling positions.
We are genuinely looking for people who are serious about learning craftsmanship and developing technical skills.

Creating Spaces by “Applying” Wood

MORI KOUGEI produces decorative plywood used in furniture, retail interiors, hotel spaces, and architectural environments.

One of the defining characteristics of Tokushima woodworking is a traditional technique known as “Mokuhari.”
By aligning, designing, and assembling wood grain patterns, we create refined visual expressions.

This is not mass production.
It is work that requires attention and care for every single piece.

Because We Are Small, You Can Be Involved in Everything

MORI KOUGEI is a small company.

Because of that, you can participate in many different aspects of the business:

・Manufacturing
・Material development
・Product planning
・Exhibition preparation
・International projects and communication

This is not a workplace where you repeat only one fixed task forever.
It is an environment suited for people who want to improve themselves through craftsmanship and creative work.

Applicants from Outside Tokushima Are Welcome

We welcome applicants from outside Tokushima who resonate with MORI KOUGEI’s philosophy and craftsmanship and wish to come here to learn seriously.

First interviews can be conducted online via ZOOM.
Applicants living within Tokushima Prefecture will be interviewed in person.
