HCJ is one of Japan’s largest trade shows for the hotel, hospitality,
tourism, and food service industries.
Architects, interior designers, hotel operators, and commercial space professionals
involved in hospitality and spatial design gather from across Japan.
At this exhibition, MORI KOUGEI will primarily introduce TSUKI-ITA PANELS, decorative marquetry veneer panels that have passed non-combustibility performance evaluation testing.
New Interior Material Certified Through Non-Combustibility Testing
TSUKI-ITA PANELS
Ministerial Certification Number：NM-6060
This exhibition will feature “TSUKI-ITA PANELS,” a non-combustible decorative veneer material that successfully passed non-combustibility performance evaluation testing.
By preserving the highly decorative expressions of marquetry and veneer pattern design while meeting non-combustibility requirements, this material can now be used in architectural and renovation projects where the use of wood materials had previously been difficult due to fire regulations.
We propose TSUKI-ITA PANELS as a new interior material that balances design freedom with regulatory compliance.
Display of Finishing Techniques & Products
At the venue, we will also introduce:
・Products finished with our original Ai-Urushi (Indigo Lacquer) technique
・Custom-order projects using decorative veneer materials
In addition to material proposals, visitors will be able to consult with us while viewing physical samples, exploring possibilities from the perspective of spatial design through finishes and products.
