『ツキ板を使ったものづくり』をテーマに製品開発をしているブランド”poke”のウッドビーズブレスレット作りワークショップの開催のお知らせ。
pokeのウッドビーズはツキ板を重ねて天然の木の色を組み合わせたオリジナルビーズが特徴。
少し厚みのあるツキ板（0.5mm~1.5mm）をカラフルに貼り合わせたオリジナル素材を加工しています。
その他の木も木目の個性的な部分を厳選して制作しています。

今回は新しく藍染(沈殿藍)ビーズが仲間に加わりました。

このビーズに使っている木は、育った国や環境も様々、木に携わっている者としては一粒一粒にストーリーを感じる事があります。
たくさんの種類の中から自分で選んで作ったものは世界でたった一つのモノ。

好みの色やカタチのビーズを選んで組み合わせるのはとても楽しいのでぜひこの機会に体験してみて下さいませ。
内容：いろいろな色や形のpokeオリジナルウッドビーズを組み合わせてブレスレットを作っていただけます。

木を紙のように薄くスライスした「突板（つきいた）」を使ったネックレス、ピアス等のアクセサリー、トレイ、木の器など様々な商品を展示します。
pokeでは、突板を木材へ貼る「杢張り（もくはり）」技術を使った化粧合板の製造により培った経験を活かしたモノづくりをしています。
また、様々な木材を積層して加工したオリジナルのウッドビーズを使ったブレスレットづくりのワークショップも開催します。

The “poke” brand, which develops products based on the theme of “craftsmanship using wood veneer,” will hold a workshop for making wood bead bracelets.

Poke’s wood beads are characterized by their original beads made by layering Tsukiita-plate and combining natural wood colors.
The original material is made by colorfully pasting together slightly thicker veneer (0.5mm~1.5mm).
Other woods are also produced by carefully selecting unique parts of wood grain.

This time, indigo-dyed (precipitated indigo) beads are newly added to our collection.

Various products such as necklaces, earrings and other accessories, trays, and wooden vessels made of “veneer,” a thin slice of wood sliced like paper, will be exhibited.
POKE makes use of its experience in manufacturing decorative plywood using the “moku-hari” technique, in which veneers are pasted onto wood.
The company will also hold a workshop for making bracelets using original wood beads made by laminating various types of wood.
Please come and see the traditional woodworking techniques of Tokushima and our efforts from a new perspective.
