The smooth, flat surface allows the pale, straight grain and gentle natural fragrance of Japanese cypress to shine through.

About the Finish
We chose Cerawood — a urethane-based topcoat developed specifically for wood products — to preserve the natural texture of the wood while ensuring the durability needed for everyday tableware use.
Cerawood offers protection against moisture, stains, and UV exposure, making it well-suited for daily use.
Products finished with the same Cerawood specification have undergone food-contact safety testing in accordance with EU standards.
This product is designed for tableware use with foods at room temperature up to comfortably warm (not too hot to touch).
Note: Japanese cypress (Hinoki) is a wood deeply rooted in Japanese culture, prized for its fine straight grain, soft pale tone, and delicate natural scent. The flat finish preserves the full clarity of its surface, letting the wood's quiet beauty speak for itself.
