Tokushima Prefecture is promoting the attractiveness of the two blues, "LED" and "ai indigo," and encouraging companies in the prefecture to develop sales channels, develop new businesses, and collaborate with each other.
As part of this effort, an exhibition and sale of products utilizing "ai indigo" will be held at the Sway Gallery in the United Kingdom (London) from January 27 to February 11, 2023.
Please take a look at the products made with ai indigo produced by Tokushima Prefecture's craftsmen with their reliable technology.
Tokushima, a city of water for centuries, is home to the “Ai” culture, which has been integrated into people’s lives along with its history and continues to fascinate people with its beautiful harmony. The indigo produced in Tokushima is called “Awa Ai,” which has been spun from ancient times and attracts attention as a world-class “Japan Blue,” a colour that symbolizes Japan.
